Clifton Park NY, July 21, 2011 – 6N Systems, a provider of clinical and financial software for the long term care community, recently achieved certification for the 837I EDI Health Care Institutional Claim file in the new HIPAA 5010 format through the Edifecs5010+ certification criteria. The Edifecs certification indicates that the file submitted "passed the WEDI/SNIP & X12 rules defined for the transaction and that the submitter was able to generate a valid HIPAA 5010 compliant file."
