Meet Our Executive Team

Darcy Baldwin, Chief Operating Officer

As COO for 6N Systems, Inc. Darcy is responsible for managing the day to day strategic operations of the company. Prior to her promotion, Darcy was Director of Product Development where she managed all aspects of the 6N products' definition and delivery, including documenting system requirements, assigning and monitoring tasks and resources, implementing test plans, designing the user interface, status reporting and change management.

Previously, Darcy served as Program Manager and Business Analyst for Systems1 where she managed project teams for n-tier Java/J2EE Internet applications. Darcy worked with UML methodologies to perform object-oriented design and analysis, worked with clients to translate business requirements into technical specifications, and led a team of Project Managers in the re-engineering of company processes and development of best practices. In addition, Darcy was responsible for project scope and scheduling, cost and resource allocation estimates, and ROI analysis for clients. Darcy began her work at Systems1 as a developer using Visual Basic 6.0, VBScipt, JavaScript, ASP, COM and PL-SQL.

Prior to Systems1, Darcy worked as a Programmer Analyst and Consultant for James McGuiness and Associates, where she designed, developed and integrated client/server software programs. Darcy holds an M.B.A. in Management Information Systems from SUNY Albany.

Bill Kilburn, Chief Technology Officer

In his current role at 6N Systems, Inc. as Chief Technology Officer, Bill is responsible for setting the overall technical direction and architecture of all software products, ensuring that their stability, scalability, performance, and maintainability are top notch and will meet the needs of our customers for years to come.

Bill has been developing professional software applications for more than 15 years. After attending Alfred University, Bill founded a network and application support company that provided consulting services for various businesses in the New York State Capital Region. Bill then joined DiRAD Technologies, Inc., where he was involved in the development and installation of many computer telephony systems for New York state and city governmental agencies including NYC Mayor's Office, NYC Department of the Aging, NYS Lottery, NYS Civil Service and NYS Medicaid office. Bill also started DiRAD's research and development efforts and was the sole developer of their first in-house voicemail and unified messaging product.

Bill moved on to Systems1, where he was the Technical Engagement Manager on several large web based projects including Tony Robbins' Dreamlife web site, a freelance contributor workflow engine called Outerforce, and a high performance XML/XSLT based television listing engine for TVGuide.com. Bill was also involved in the design and prototype development of a device service network for Thomson Consumer electronics (RCA). Bill also was heavily involved in setting company standards and direction related to Microsoft technologies at Systems1.

Traci Jersen, Vice President, Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing for 6N Systems, Traci oversees the sales and marketing strategy for 6N's long term care clinical and financial product line, as well as conducts market analysis and research to ensure 6N's clients benefit from the most up-to-date industry knowledge and regulatory requirements. She also assists the product team with assessing the need for new functionality in 6N's clinical and financial products, as well as manages the 6N User Forum. Prior to her role in sales and marketing, Traci conducted client implementations and focus groups for 6N's software.

Previously, Traci served as a consultant for 6N Systems, Systems1, and NPowerNY, where she helped clients with their market research, technical messaging, public relations and overall product outreach. Prior to that, she worked as a Senior Editorial Manager for Alexander Ogilvy Public Relations in New York, where she developed messaging, conducted research and assisted with outreach strategy for high-growth technology companies. Traci is a member of The National Association for the Support of Long Term Care (www.nasl.org) where she serves as Chair of the Information Technology Committee. She has also conducted a number of speaking engagements on the impact of technology in long term care for National and State organizations including CAST (The Center for Aging Services Technologies), NYAHSA (The New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging), and NYSHFA (The New York State Health Facilities Organization). Traci holds an M.A. from The University of Vermont, and a B.A. from Ithaca College.

Rob Mikulec, Vice President, Sales

Rob brings over 15 years of sales and management experience to his role as Vice President of Sales for 6N Systems. Over the course of his career, he has developed, implemented and managed sales strategies for a diverse group of technology companies. With a focus on Sales strategies for 6N Systems, he is charged with the continued growth of 6N's Financial and 6N's EMR products for long term care providers across all sales territories.

Before joining 6N, Rob grew sales for nFrastructure across a broad base of clientele from small retail to large, national banking organizations. Prior to nFrastructure, Rob was Director of Sales for Sayers Technology, where he developed and implemented sales plans for Voice Over Internet Protocol hardware and software, resulting in an overall increase in revenue. Rob has also held positions for Northeast Technical where he managed sales and marketing for their precision machine tools and supplies company, and for Osgood Machinery, where he served as Vice President of Sales, and was responsible for tripling sales and increased efficiencies with new processes and technology. 

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science from Canisius College, and has completed training for a number of sales techniques and technologies including Franklin Covey, Sandler, Carl Henry’s PEOPLE and Microsoft’s CRM program.
